de pronto, pensei a mesma coisa. contudo, no próprio site existe uma matéria criticando o uso do marabou e a também o modo de atar, onde o atador aproveita a haste do anzol para atar o corpo da mosaca. dá só uma olhada
Many damsel nymph patterns use marabou for tails and bodies. Marabou has always been popular, as it is inexpensive, available, and comes in many colors.
But, over the years I have become disenchanted with marabou, because its mobility (movement in the water) is overrated. Observe a bugger being pulled through the water, and what you likely see is the marabou slimming down, with waterlogged fibers sticking together.
In contrast to marabou, Arctic Fox body hair retains an appetizing volume and free movement. Because the fibers don't clump together, light penetrates the body hair plume, adding life. All of these qualities are plusses and fish-attractors
